Recognizing the needs of Central Louisiana’s farmers, CLEDA has partnered with the LSU AgCenter to host a two-day Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) workshop February 24th and 25th at the Dean Lee Research Stations. Click here to register and to learn more.
With increasing numbers of distributors requiring third-party food safety audits, it is necessary for farmers to better understand the requirements of GAP.
This workshop will be facilitated by a number of specialists from the LSU AgCenter, as well as a GAP auditor and a major distributor.
If you are looking for yet another reason to attend this workshop, producers attending this workshop will be eligible for financial assistance in the form of a cost reimbursement program that be established and will support 75% of the auditing fees associated with GAPs certification.
